Standard 128 Point Cable Tester - Built in Adapter-Plate Fixturing

The 128 point standard version (CD128S) is manufactured in an attractive Nylon-Coated DieCast Aluminium Box Measuring 222 by 146 by 55 millimetres (8.75" by 5.75" by 2.16") and weighing approx 0.7 Kg. Units can be daisy chained together to provide up to 262,144 test points! Cable insulation is tested at 6 Volts and a 100 pin cable takes approximately 0.2 seconds to test. The units connect, via a supplied 1.8 metre cable, to the parallel port of any PC running Windows 3.x, or Windows 95/98. The software requires a 386 processor with 4 meg RAM and 2 meg free diskspace, or better. An integral fixturing system is mounted on top of each unit consisting of either a printed circuit board into which many plugs or sockets can be soldered, or seperate adapter plates manufactured in stove-enamelled steel fixed by two finger-tightenable thumbscrews. Note that adapters are supplied seperately.
Units are shipped with a test probe, parallel port cable and external 6 Volt power supply.
