CD2048 Cable Tester - Remote Fixturing

The standard CD2048RF cable tester measures 18" by 12" by 9" high, and is built in a smart stove-enamelled custom-built housing fitted with 64 times 37-Way D-type sockets (Only 32 pins are used on each 37 way socket).
The enclosures have standard sockets mounted on both the front and rear panels, to minimize the total size. Although 37-Way D-type sockets are illustrated, most other socket types can be supplied - according to your requirements. Internally, the circuit boards are stacked resulting in a fairly compact unit. The solution is well suited to environments where external fixturing will be used for the testing (e.g. looming-boards, bareboard PCBs, backplanes, automated processes).
Customers who require a high number of test points can opt for little more than a stack of Cable Doctor testing boards daisy chained together. Cables lead away from the stack to whatever test fixture you choose. We can supply customised housings for stacks of standard boards, with quite small dimensions. For example, a 2048 point tester can measure just 8" by 5" by 11". We can go much smaller than this, if required, however this would be subject to a development overhead.
Systems with virtually unlimited numbers of test points can be produced to order (the current limit exceeds 0.26 million test points). A test probe and an external 6 Volt power supply are included in the price.
