General Purpose PCB Adapters

Product Description:
The General Purpose PCB Adapters (GPADs) are reinforced printed circuit boards measuring 222 by 146 millimetres (8.75" by 5.75") that fit on top of the standard Cable Doctor box via 6 screws. They contain a wide selection of universal grids and can accept multiple PCB mounted plugs or sockets, soldered to individual requirements. Using this system allows many different types of cable to be tested without having to physically change adapters. This can often be the cheapest interfacing solution, as you may need only one board to interface to all your cables. Customers may easily add their own sockets as the boards have pre-tinned solder pads surrounded by solder-resist.
GPAD1 provides for ALL of the following plug/socket types- on just one adapter board!
GPAD2 (twice as many sockets)
If two 128 point standard units are daisy chained together to make a 256 point unit, a DOUBLE version of GPAD1 can be used (222 by 292 millimetres). This has the same layout as the single version but with twice as many sockets. This gives a huge number of possible combinations of socket-types which could be present on one physical adapter card.
A Quadruple version of GPAD1 is also available.
