Networks Of Cable Doctors

With Cable Doctor you can afford a tester on EVERY bench!

- push buttons provide "Remote Control"

Product Description:

Cable Doctors can be daisy-chained, allowing a Single, Low-Spec PC to control a whole network of testers! Each tester is operated remotely from the computer by pressing its own push buttons, and the software has been extended specifically to support cable manufacturers with multiple cable-assembly stations. The test stations can have many push buttons, each controlling different test programs, so an operator on station 1 can be making and testing several types of cable, whilst other operators on stations 2, 3, 4, etc. make and test completely different types of cable. The architecture of the cable doctor system prevents cables plugged into one tester from having any effect on tests carried out on other stations.

Cable Doctor's "Network Aware" software presents users with huge PASS and FAIL messages so just one monitor is sufficient for all users to share. (The actual messages are, for example, Green "P16" or Red "F16" - indicating which user activated the test) . If a cable Fails, the operator can either view the error-report on screen, or, by pressing the push button again, remotely send the report straight to a printer. If your operators work in different rooms so they cannot see the monitor, you can fit a graphics-splitter card to allow more than one monitor to be used.

The "Network Aware" software makes setting up and maintaining the system extremely quick and easy - "Golden Cables" and Adapters created on any station can be used by all other stations.

This has to be the cheapest possible test-system in the world that can offer this sort of functionality!
